About Clive Grey
Clive was born in Kaufbeuren, Germany, and spent the first two years of his life in an orphanage. At the age of 2 1/2, he was adopted and brought to Southern California where he spent the rest of his childhood. At the age of 18, Clive moved to Santa Barbara where he became a handyman and was fortunate enough to learn the building trades from master craftsmen in the area.
When time would permit, he would be known to be building furniture from wine barrels as well as wooden flower pot holders and mirrors. After 10 years of learning the trades, he became a general contractor focusing primarily on kitchen and bath remodels. In the 90’s Clive started building his own cabinets and fireplace mantles as well as book shelves.
In the Early part of the new millennium, Clive even had the privilege of hosting and co-writing a woodworking show on PBS that aired throughout the US and parts of Canada. This started the ball rolling for quite a few commissions to build unique art tables. While still doing remodels he began to start doing his own designs and plans. At the request of many clients he moved into designing music boxes and wall art. Today he is focusing on his passion of Woodworking and art and is always ready to start a new project for you!
